12 Days Memorable Wildlife and Nature Encounter Safari in Uganda

Day 1: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park

You will meet our company representative (tour guide) who will give you a briefing about your safari, and later begin your journey to Uganda’s smallest savanna national park, lake Mburo, a whispers of the wild.

Stop over at Equator crossing point and do the water experiment and stop over for lunch at selected restaurant Hotel en route with this fantastic view of the dry rolling hills of this dry cattle corridor (Ankole-Masaka dry corridor) for the venture for off the beaten track. Watch the graceful beautiful long-horned Ankole cattle as they graze and move swiftly besides the road before check in at the Lodge Check in and proceed for the evening game drive.

Day 2: The Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After early morning breakfast go for morning game drive in this compact germ for the best rewarding wildlife the animal tracks in the hinterland of the pane where the variety of animals and birds are seen hill top viewpoints offers panoramic view rich in animals such as plenty of Impalas, several zebras, water bucks, topis, Elands, herds of buffaloes, warthogs, giraffes, Baboons, monkeys, etc.
Lake Mburo National Park is a natural haven for fauna and flora.
Afternoon boat cruise,

After lunch dry to Rwonyo for the boat cruise on Lake Mburo, the wildlife rich. You will explore the Lake during this transquil two hours voyage, animals expected to be sightened here includes; crocodiles, hippopotamus, buffaloes as well as colourful kingfishers, magnificent fish eagles, harmer kops and their enormous nests and zarrel.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Gorilla National Park

You will be welcomed to a new day with a morning breakfast, there after embark on your journey to Bwindi Gorilla National Park, a home for the  ultimate gorillas.

You will be driving to South western Uganda via the western route, where you will be driving on the beautiful roads, surrounded by the stunning, rewarding and outstanding beautiful landscapes, as you head to bwindi national park. You will have your lunch en route, and thereafter proceed to the destination, where you will reach in the evening, check-in from the hotel, have your relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ultimate Gorilla Tracking Experience

On this day, you will wake up early in the morning with a breakfast and packed lunch, then head to the gorilla tracking briefing point where you will meet the  guides and rangers who will give you information about how you will experience the ultimate gorilla tracking. You will then enter the forest for this gorilla tracking experience where you will meet the wild giants in the real jungle, witnessing the interaction of these human closest cousins. This is a life-time moment and a waited time as you will be witnessing the living style for these gorillas, as they welcome you to their habitants, offering you the chance to encounter the impenetrable tropical forests,

You will then after the ultimate and memorable time with gorillas, return to the hotel where you will enjoy the balcony view of the ultimate forests in Bwindi national park, as you take a relaxation,

You will then have your dinner, overnight and then sleep as you wait for the next day;

Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will wake up early in the morning with a morning breakfast, where after, you will embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park, another place you will enjoy the most outstanding adventurous moment. You will be driving on the snake like roads (roads in snake zig-zag form) as you enjoy the great view of the stunning landscapes, where you will be able to reach in queen Elizabeth national park in the afternoon, check-in from the lodge, relax, as you wait for the next day. You will relax on the balcony place offering you the great evening view of the park, with an evening sunset, offering you  glimpse moment,  your mind is prepared for the next day.

You will then have dinner, over night as you wait for the next day’s activities.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise

After early morning breakfast drive to Kasenyi plains for the memorable experience in this perfect setting for a classic African experience, you expect to see huge herds of Uganda Kob that attract prides of lions, warthogs graze bent down on their knees, guinea fowl scuttle through the grass, huge dane elephants stride across the game drive tracks with fantastic view set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori mountains, the dozens of enormous crate laver carved dramatically,

After lunch time drive to Mweya peninsula the Queen’s focal point for the departure of the boat cruise along the Kazinga channel and still jam-packed with birds and animals with a fantastic view of elevated position commands gorgeous point for wildlife as you seat back on the boat to be excited with how the banks are crammed with hippos, buffaloes and water birds, elephants, strides along the banks all you need to do seat ready with your camera or binoculars at the ready and enjoy the incredible spectacles.

Day 7: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast drive to Kibale National Park via Fort portal town and enjoy this cleanest city in Uganda drive through Kasese that lies besides Rwenzori Mountains and stop over for lunch in Fort portal at the selected Restaurant /Hotel before driving to Kibale National Park for check in at the lodge for the overnight.

Day 8: Ultimate Chimpanzee Tracking Experience

After early morning breakfast drive to Kanyanchu in the central part of Kibale, most popular activity here is chimpanzee trackng. As you search for chimpanzee keep an eye out for other primates such as grey checked mangbeys along with L’HOest, red colobus, red-tailed and blue monkeys, your expert guide will share the secrets of forest’s flora and fauna, ensuring that the trail is both informative and enjoyable.
After lunch, the Bigodi women’s group will take you on a fascinating board walk trail through the papyrus swamp of Bigodi weltland sandway finish this action-packed day with a cultural performance or a sunset drink at a nearby lodge.

Day 9: Cultural Tour and Nature Walk

You will wake up in the morning, with a morning breakfast, and embark on the short journey to the trails, in Bigodi swamp walk, where you will have your nature walk as you will be enjoying the nature wonders with a number of birds, beautiful sceneries and the beautiful culture.

You will then head back to the hotel for lunch, and thereafter, have a relaxing afternoon (we can also provide another activity if interested). You will then have your dinner, overnight, as you wait for the next day.

Day 10: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

You wake up early in the morning with a morning breakfast that will welcome you to a new day, and then after the briefing from the tour guide, you embark on the journey to Murchison falls national park, Uganda’s biggest national park. You will drive for approximately 4-6 hours, with your lunch en route, where you will check on from the hotel in the park in afternoon / evening as you enjoy the moment in the park. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by the wild residents, (animals) as they try to welcome you to their natural habitants, as you also enjoy the sweet and disturbing sounds on the birds and all welcoming you.

Check-in from the hotel, relax, and have your dinner with overnight as you wait for the next day.

Day 11: Morning Game Drive & Afternoon Boat Cruise

After early morning breakfast transfer go for game drive around Buligi on the northern bank and this area has fantastic view to photograph the wide range of animals in the Nile valley, you will marvel at herds of Buffaloes, dozens of elephants, warthogs and towering giraffes along with water bucks, oribis some thought animals here includes lions, hyenas, leopards.

Afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of Murchison falls along the Victoria Nile. The launch trip upstream present you an astonishing display of wildlife and culminates with the memorable frontal view of the falls, the launch will take 3hours the highlights for the trip are terming hippos, crocodile basking at the banks of the river with elephants and buffaloes which come down to bath and drink.
Hiking to the top of Murchison falls. After cruise to the bottom the boat will drop you at the bottom and you hike up this is an experience that brings all the senses into play, watch the waves of the white water.

Day 12: Transfer back to Kampala

You will wake up early in the morning with a morning breakfast, and thereafter, embark on the journey back to Kampala, you will have your last day as you exit the park, with a lot of memories, and just a reminder, your safari has ended in Uganda’s largest national park, covering an areas of over 3840 km2.
