This safari will take you to Kidepo Valley National Park, Uganda’s most isolated national park, but a True African Wilderness for its uniqueness of hosting the Cheetahs, and Ostriches which are not found in any other national park in Uganda. Other animals you are expected to see include, Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes and many others including the birds as nature would allow. Among other things to do on this tour include visiting the karamajong for cultural encounter, and sipi falls in Kapchorwa district on your return day.

Travel Days

Day 1: Transfer from Kampala to Kidepo Valley National Park

You will begin the journey from Kampala /central Uganda, after a briefing from the tour guide, and head to Kidepo valley national park via eastern route, with lunch enroute. You will take drive for at least 12 hours with a number of stopovers on the way.

You will drive as you enjoy the stunning, rewarding and great view of the beautiful landscapes, as they surround you while driving on the snake like roads on some areas and other flat and straight roads and as a tour guide is sharing fascinating information with you.

You will reach in Kidepo national park in the evening, enter, and relax, prepare for your dinner, have overnight as you wait for the next day.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive

You will wake up in the morning with your morning breakfast, and drive to the savanna and bushy part of the park, where you will be enjoying the morning sunrise, combined with the wild residents. While on your game drive, you will be able to meet and see a number animals like herds of Elephants, Buffaloes, Antelopes, Cheetahs, Ostriches, Lions, and umber of birds, as nature will allow. This is an amazing and memorable activity as you will be able to see and witness the interaction of the wild animals, a day to remember, and a life-time moment.

You will then head back to your accommodation place, for lunch and thereafter take on an evening nature walk.

Head back to the accommodation, for relaxation, as you wait for the next day.

Day 3: Transfer to Sipi Falls

You will wake up in the morning with a morning breakfast, and then drive to the Manyattas, (Karamajong residents) where you will encounter such a beautiful culture in karamoja land. Thereafter you will proceed to Sipi falls, in Kapchorwa district for an overnight where you will have the sipi falls hiking on the next day. Here you will drive with your lunch enroute.

Day 4: Sipi Falls Hiking and Transfer to Kampala

You will undergo a nature walk to the spectacular sipi falls which has its origin from mountain elgon, enjoy the falls, raindrops coming from the falls, offering you such an amazing moment and a shower, coming from the three falls as you take a walk under these falls, and you will expect to see caves, plantation of coffee and sugarcane along the way after that embark on the journey back to Kampala with en route lunch.
